Your Retreat Itinerary

Day 1: Friday, August 18, 2023

• 12 - 4:30 pm: Arrive and settle into your room (or set up your tent)
• 5 pm: Enjoy Gentle Qigong to Re-balance the Nervous System (Meditation Hall)
• 6:30 pm: Community Dinner & Conversation
• 7:30 pm: Group Table Top Energy Healing and/or Bonfire (bring jokes and stories!). Sharing and Star Gazing – Weather Permitting

Day 2: Saturday, August 20, 2023

• 7 am: Coffee/Tea
• 8 am: Guided meditation…or sleep
• 9 am: Breakfast & free time
• 11 am: Zen Light Stretching ‘Shigosen’ (しごせん). ‘Meridian Clearing’ with Sunim (optional) or hike the forest
• 12:30 pm: Lunch & free time - read, nap, explore nature or go to the beach
• 2:30 pm: Intro to Qigong Walking & Peaceful Forest Bathing Qigong in Nature (meet just outside of the Meditation Hall)
• 4:30 pm: Build Your Qi and Rest The Nervous System ‘Inner Peace Qigong’ (Meditation Hall)
• 6 pm: Dinner
• 7:30 pm: Fire outside with community and Star Gazing or Guided Qigong Meditation inside – depending on the weather.

Day 3: Sunday, August 21, 2023

• 7 am: Coffee/Tea
• 8 am: Guided meditation…or sleep
• 9 am: Breakfast & free time
• 11 am: ‘Touching Silence’ and Resting The Nervous System ‘Inner Peace Qigong’ (Meditation Hall)
• 12:30 pm: Lunch
• 2:30 pm: Depart at your leisure. You are welcome to stay and enjoy the trails, the ambiance, continue the conversation surrounded by the deep beauty of nature with your new friends.

Hae Kwang Sunim is an esteemed practitioner who has dedicated his life to mastering the art of energy healing and qigong. Trained in Thailand and South

Korea, Sunim has distilled his vast knowledge into a language accessible to all, enabling the direct application of these teachings in daily life. This retreat is ordered at a special Sliding Scale pricing, ranging from $299 to $529.

Your Retreat includes meals, snacks, beverages and teachings for a base price of $299 per person.

For shared indoor accomodation add 25%. Please note that you can also make this a camping/glamping weekend : ) for base price and yes, it still includes meals, showers, teachings, campfires etc.. For a private room please add $200. 

Your payment of $299 covers costs and is requested in advance of the retreat to hold your spot.

At the end of your retreat you will be given an envelope for DĀNA (appreciation offering) to support the teacher and the centre so they can continue offering such affordable programs. This format is not uncommon in the East. Each time one receives teachings and a space to practice, it is an opportunity to consciously practice generosity.

The Retreat price range is from $299 to $529. What you offer beyond the base of $299 at the end of the retreat will be allocated as Dāna. Dāna is offered according to one’s heart and one’s nancial means. When deciding how much to offer attendees reflect on what the retreat space, food and teachings meant to them and try to give accordingly. You can request where the Dāna can best be spent in order to help make future retreats even better.

Fridges are available. Attendees can also bring whatever foods they wish in order to support any special dietary needs.

Cancellation policy

Full refund minus a $75 processing fee up to 4 weeks before the commencement of the retreat.

For cancellations less than 30 days prior to the retreat beginning, a $150 administrative fee will be charged. If for any reason the retreat must be cancelled - 100% of your retreat payment that was made will be refunded within 7 days by Bliss Haven Retreat Centre.

Staying On Site:

1. Bedding - Guests can bring their own bedding or Bliss Haven will provide bedding. Retreatants need to bring their own towel & toiletries.
2. Daily housekeeping of the rooms is not provided.
3. Illegal drugs, firearms and fireworks are NOT permitted on the property.
4. The user and guests acknowledge that Bliss Haven buildings are completely smoke-free.
5. Vehicles must be parked in designated areas.
6. User and its guests are responsible for any and all property and personal effects belonging to the user, guests and agents and Bliss Haven and the staff / teachers and its insurers shall not be liable for any damages.
